ADA compliance, end to end.
Federal and Massachusetts law require business websites to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. ADA Active Shield handles the full path to compliance — free scan, full audit, code-level remediation, certification, and ongoing monitoring — so you stay protected from fines, demand letters, and lawsuits.

What you get

FAQ
Common questions.
Does the monitoring plan fix my site automatically?+
No. Monitoring (Active Shield Monthly Monitoring and Defense Ready) keeps watch on your site and includes an annual assessment, but actual fixes are handled through our one-time remediation plans, priced by site size.
Does the accessibility widget make my site compliant?+
No. The widget is a user-experience enhancement — not a compliance mechanism. True compliance requires a full audit and code-level remediation. (In April 2025 the FTC fined accessiBe $1M for claiming otherwise.)
What does a full audit cost?+
$997 one-time. It pairs an automated WCAG 2.1 AA scan with a hands-on manual review by certified specialists, and includes a severity-ranked report plus a prioritized remediation roadmap.
How much does remediation cost?+
It's priced by site size: $1,500 for 1–5 pages, $3,500 for 6–15 pages, $6,000 for 16–30 pages, and $9,500 for transaction sites up to 55 pages. Additional pages are $250/page.
Why does Full Coverage monitoring require remediation first?+
Ongoing monitoring and badge renewal require a remediated, certified site as a baseline. The $49/mo Widget Only plan is the standalone option that doesn't require an audit or remediation.
Are there tax incentives?+
Yes — small businesses can claim up to $5,000 in federal tax credits (Section 44 Disabled Access Credit) and $15,000 in deductions annually for accessibility improvements.
